Applications are invited for group “D” posts against Scout-Guide Qouta-2011-12 in Delhi division from the eligible candidates . Detail of Posts and requirements :

Scout and Guide Qualification :
 
Ø  President Scout/Guide/Rover/Ranger (OR) Himalaya Wood Badge Holder (OR) Pre Himalaya Wood Badge Trained Guide/Leader/Captain.
Ø  Should have been an active member of a Scout-Guide Organisation for the least 3 (three) years in the recent past and should continue to be active.
Ø  Should have attended at least one event at National level and one or two events at State level (OR) Should have a good record on participation in Scouts/Guides activities at Unit/District Level.
Necessary testimonials concerning the Scout and Guide activities up to the date of application duly certify by District Commissioner(Scout/Guide).

Examination Fee :
All applications should be accompanied by crossed Indian Postal Order(IPO) or A/c payee Demand Draft of any Nationalised Bank of Rs. 40/- (Rupees Forty only) towards examination fee SC/ST and Ex. Service men candidates are exempted from paying examination fee. The Postal Order or Bank Draft should be drawn in favour of District Commissioner(Scout), Northern Railway Bharat Scouts and Guides, Delhi District. The validity of bank draft should be minimum 6(Six) month. Candidates must write their name, full address at the space provide in the postal order/bank draft. The examination fee is not refundable under any circumstance.

Application Procedure :
Application are to be made only in the specific form as given below. Form should be typed on good quality A-4 size full scale paper.
The application is liable to be rejected if any of the compulsory enclosures is not attached as indicated in the proforma or any column left blank.
The form should be filled up in candidate own handwriting as per proforma given in advertisement.
Application should be filled in Hindi or English.
Two passport size photograph in Scout Guide uniform. One should be pasted on the space provided in the application and one should be clipped along with the application form.
All the copies of certificates in regard to age, qualification etc. duly attested by Gazetted Officer should be enclosed along with the application.

Note:
1.   Vacancies reserved for OBC category are meant only for candidates coming under “Non Creamy Layer”. Non creamy layer means the gross annual income of parents of candidates should not exceed Rs. 4.5 Lakhs in last three consecutive years in line with DOP & T OM No.36033/3/2004-Estt.(Res) dated 14th October, 2008. As per clarification by DOP & T vide their O.M dated 14.10.2004, following candidates will fall in OBC “Creamy Layer”:
a.       Wards of parents, either one or both of whom are directly recruited in Class I/ Group A posts in Govt. Services or PSUs.
b.      Wards of parents, both whom are directly recruited in Class II/ Group B posts
c.       Wards of parents, of whom only the husband is directly recruited in Class II/ Group B post and he gets into Class I / Group A post at the age of 40 years or earlier.

2. Upper Age limit is relaxable by:                   
a.       3 years for OBC (Non Creamy Layer);
b.      5 years for SC/ST candidates;
c.       10 years for Physically Challenged candidates with locomotor disability or hearing impairment. The definition of locomotor disability and hearing impairment for Physically Challenged candidates is as per “The Persons with Disabilities (Equal Opportunities Protection of Rights and Full Participation) Act 1995;
d.      5 years for the candidates who had domiciled in the state of Jammu & Kashmir during the period from 01.01.1980 to 31.12.1989.
e.       Age relaxation for Ex-Servicemen will be as per Govt. Rules;

2.      All candidates are required to pay a non – refundable Processing Fee of Rs.250/- (Rupees two hundred and fifty only) by means of a Bank Demand draft drawn in favour of BHEL, ISG payable at Bangalore. Candidates are advised to write their name and post applied for on the reverse side of the Demand Draft. However, SC /ST and Physically Challenged candidates are exempted from paying the processing fee.
